AMVETS Post 72
Louis Colon AMVETS Post 72 is a nonprofit veterans organization located at 659 Brayton Ave in Somerset, Massachusetts. Our Post is dedicated to honoring the service and sacrifice of the men and women who have served honorably in the United States Armed Forces.
Named in honor of Louis Colon, AMVETS Post 72 upholds the values of patriotism, service, fellowship, and community support. We are proud to continue the AMVETS mission of “Veterans Serving Veterans” and to be part of a national organization that has supported American veterans for more than 80 years.
The mission of AMVETS is to enhance and safeguard the quality of life for all American veterans who have served honorably, along with their families and the communities where they live.
At Somerset AMVETS Post 72, we carry out this mission through leadership, service, advocacy, community involvement, and programs that support veterans and their families both locally and beyond.
